Everyone can benefit from communication skills
In my professional career, I have always felt hindered by my lack of confidence in public speaking. However, as a parent, I wanted to ensure this did not happen to my daughter. Lesley has provided my daughter with the support and solid foundation of public speaking skills vital for the working environment. Her experience, empathy and wealth of knowledge in acting enable her to advise on the best delivery. Lesley teaches not just practical techniques to control nerves but also how to deliver a well-rehearsed informative speech. LAMDA with Lesley is the key to enhancing your presentation and ability to convey information professionally and constructively. We are grateful to have had the opportunity.
'Lesley has been so helpful since I contacted her to arrange our sessions. With no prior experience in acting, our first session was useful to gain confidence and start with the basics. Lesley gave me a monologue to work on in my own time and has been able to offer me flexible sessions around my university studies. Since our first session I was able to go to my first audition and get cast in my university play. Lesley creates a relaxed and enjoyable environment whilst also being incredibly professional and knowledgeable in what she teaches.'

After a couple of years when I have fallen short of a drama school place I booked a session with Lesley to go over my speeches. Her experience as an actor brings an understanding and specificity to her direction which allowed me to make exciting discoveries in the texts and her time spent on audition panels helps add the polish and flare that offers a chance to stand out. All this alongside a friendly and supportive mentor - Thanks to Lesley I have secured a place at a competitive school. Thank you !

After many rejections from drama schools I was feeling very low in self esteem and came to Lesley for some help in audition technique - And I am so glad I did! Lesley is the most incredible teacher and from her hard work and attention to detail my confidence was built up and I secured two places at drama school. Could not recommend Lesley more, what a kind and talented person. Thank you so much for helping me achieve my goals.
